Marketing Coordinator

Parsippany, NJ (onsite)

12+Month Contract

M-F (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Entry-level marketing role supporting the marketing department on projects and initiatives that support organizational goals. Responsible for social media marketing, graphic design, photography, event and trade show coordination, vendor communication, marketing collateral, product launches, and marketing communications.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing projects, initiatives, and organizational goals under the direction of the Director of Marketing.
• Manage the marketing calendar and assist with organizing events, trade shows, and other marketing activities.
• Work with agency partners to create and review multi-media graphic design options, functionality, and programming needs.
• Create communication assets for online, in-store, trade events, and internal communications.
• Develop and support marketing collateral, including exhibits, show and dealer consumer graphics, brochures, literature, posters, banners, displays, coupons, and packaging.
• Ensure marketing collateral is accurate, consistent, and compliant with required standards.
• Support social media advertising and marketing on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
• Measure and report social media engagement statistics and recommend improvements.
• Contribute to online search marketing content, including keywords and analytical reporting.
• Support go-to-market deliverables required for successful product launches.
• Produce photography assets using Pentax camera equipment in studio and on location for product launches, social media campaigns, sample photography, and workshops.
• Coordinate marketing collateral inventory and delivery to appropriate channels to maximize return on investment.
• Assist with trade show booth setup and post-event activities, including sample inventory and product and collateral shipments.
• Manage camera sample inventory and coordinate product loan requests, including fulfillment, tracking, and shipment of review units to media in partnership with the PR team.
• Coordinate and maintain vendor communication and mutually beneficial relationships with customers, vendors, and sales teams.
• Work with internal resources and external vendors to support event and trade show planning.
• Support marketing communication projects and initiatives as required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
• Prior graphic design experience with competent graphic design software skills.
• Project management experience.
• Social media marketing experience.
• Understanding of graphic design fundamentals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, coworkers, executives, and management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated creativity, foresight, and judgment in anticipating and solving complex problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to lift products and stand or move for extended periods when organizing and attending industry events and trade shows.
• Ability to sit for lengthy periods and use vision and hands for computer and office equipment duties.
• Occasional travel required.
• Driving required.
• Business casual dress code; jeans and a nice top are acceptable.
