Job Description

Digital Marketing Specialist

Montgomery, AL | Full-time | Monday–Friday | On-site | Permanent

Not sure what skills you will need for this opportunity Simply read the full description below to get a complete picture of candidate requirements.

From First Draft to Publish

An email is ready for review. A social post needs scheduling. A website update is waiting on one final detail. As our Digital Marketing Specialist, you'll help bring those pieces together and keep online marketing activity moving.

We're hiring in Montgomery for someone who enjoys creating clear content, organizing projects, and learning what makes people engage online. You'll support the marketing team across social media, email, website content, and campaign reporting, gaining practical experience while contributing ideas of your own.

Create, Coordinate, Check

Your work will cover three connected areas:

Content and publishing

  • Prepare and schedule social media posts using approved messaging and materials.
  • Help draft email campaigns, website updates, and other digital communications.
  • Organize images, graphics, and campaign assets so the team can find what it needs.
  • Check links, spelling, formatting, and details before content goes live.

Campaign organization

  • Maintain content calendars, campaign schedules, and task trackers.
  • Coordinate feedback and approvals with colleagues.
  • Follow up on outstanding materials and approaching deadlines.
  • Support campaign launches and routine updates across digital channels.

Research and results

  • Research audience interests, competitor activity, and relevant content ideas.
  • Gather engagement information from marketing platforms.
  • Prepare straightforward performance summaries.
  • Suggest practical changes based on feedback and results.

You Can Bring More Than a Previous Job Title

Experience in marketing, communications, content creation, or administration is helpful. We also welcome examples from internships, coursework, volunteering, community organizations, or personal projects.

Perhaps you've managed posts for a student group, created graphics for a local event, or written updates for a small business. We're interested in what you contributed and how you approached the work.

A specific degree isn't required. You should have strong written communication, good attention to detail, and the ability to keep several deadlines organized.

Familiarity with Canva, email marketing tools, website content systems, or analytics platforms is a plus. Confidence using computers and a willingness to learn new tools are essential.

Build Your Skills With the Team

You'll work on-site in Montgomery and receive training on company platforms, brand guidelines, and campaign processes. Alongside day-to-day guidance, you'll gain experience in content preparation, digital coordination, and understanding campaign performance.

Applicants from Montgomery and nearby communities are welcome if they can reliably commute to the workplace.

Apply Through LinkedIn

Submit your current resume. If you have a relevant writing, design, or digital project example, you're welcome to include it—a portfolio isn't required. xhyhwjd

We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome qualified applicants from all backgrounds.
