Job Summary (List Format):
- Position: Intermediate-to-senior AI / Agent Engineer
- Team Focus: Accelerate the design, expansion, and optimization of client-facing conversational AI agents
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, enhance, and scale advanced AI agents and conversational chatbots using LangGraph
- Replace an existing FAQ experience with an advanced chatbot integrated into Genesys
- Develop clean, production-grade code in TypeScript and Python
- Integrate AI agents with service-based APIs and workflows (not direct DB manipulation)
- Design and improve prompts to minimize hallucinations and ensure reliable outputs
- Expand agent ecosystem by adding new tools, integrations, and operational skills
- Connect the agent to Genesys and continue integrating new features
- Implement robust testing and evaluation frameworks for AI outputs and system health
- Focus on observability using tools like Honeycomb, Splunk, OpenTelemetry, and Arize
Technical Qualifications:
- Production-level experience in TypeScript and Python
- Deep hands-on experience with LangGraph, GenAI LLMs, and agentic AI architectures
- Familiarity with AWS Bedrock (required), ECS, Lambda, and S3
- Strong expertise in API integrations and modern connectivity patterns
- Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Genesys voice/chat environments
Observability & Testing Tools:
- Experience with monitoring and telemetry tools: Honeycomb, Splunk, OpenTelemetry
- Experience using AI observability platforms like Arize
- Skilled in prompt testing and hallucination prevention
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with MCPs (Model Context Protocol) or emerging AI integration patterns
- Exposure to KMaaS (Knowledge Management as a Service)
- Experience with future-facing voice or Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology
Professional & Soft Skills:
- Strong communicator, able to document architecture and collaborate cross-functionally (UX, Product, Analytics)
- Comfortable with ambiguity; self-starter who adapts quickly in a shifting AI environment
- Quality-driven, with a focus on output safety, engineering rigor, and client experience
